The benefits of a restorative practice are often overlooked. Consider this to be the cross trainer to a more active yoga practice, providing therapeutic and restorative benefits. Supported by props, relax fully into deep, long stretches and poses. Learning to practice with props may also provide just the assistance needed to access more complex poses and to help you take your practice further. Restore health and clarity in your body, mind and soul in this 75 minute class.
Back to basics! This class is designed both for the experienced yogi wanting to advance their practice and the beginner alike. We will break down some yoga poses in each class and dive a little deeper into the intent behind each posture. A great way to begin or deepen your yoga practice.
A very gentle, safe class with emphasis on proper alignment.Props are used to minimize strain and ensure correct positioning for poses. Great for those recovering from injury or illness, with chronic conditions, or beginners who are curious about yoga but concerned about the difficulty. Develop increased range of motion, strength, balance, and sense of well-being.

We often hear that people "can't do yoga" or that they are "intimidated" by yoga. While we definitely enjoy working with experienced yogis of all levels, there is something so beautiful about helping a beginner connect with themselves on the mat and watching them build their practice as they achieve things they once thought they could not. There is no room for our egos in yoga... And no judgement. All are happily welcomed into our intimate, peaceful studio.
